Case Study

Information Technology ( IT ) is just like a bundle of all these things, the water piping system, the electrical lining system, the bicycle, roads and highways, the library, the printing press, the telephone, the airplane and many more

Water piping system
As a community mobilizer is to guide a community in managing it's water supply . This is best done in meetings where the sources are reviewed as part of a participatory appraisal .

Electrical lining system
This manual is limited in scope in that it is not intended to be a course in the design of IT electrical
systems or related components. The engineering skills needed to design IT systems are abilities acquired
through the process of formal education and actual field experience. The area of field experience will be
stressed in this manual and the subjects focused upon will be those areas that are frequently the least
understood. This manual will be useful to the power-oriented engineer with limited commercial building
experience and personnel responsible for the electrical design, inspection, installation, and maintenance
supervision of electrical power distribution systems supplying IT systems. This manual is not intended as
a replacement for the engineering text furnished as part of IT system components, but rather, should be
used to supplement and better evaluate established design practices. While the fundamental objective of
any IT system is the processing of input data, the output data can be greatly altered and influenced by the
quality of power supplying the IT system. In spite of the wide variation of systems in use, all IT systems
respond adversely in some degree to the quality of the basic power sources available.

Bicycle
bicycle reduced crowding in inner-city elements by allowing workers to commute from more spacious dwellings in the suburbs .They also reduced dependence on horses. Bicycles allowed people to travel for leisure into the country, since bicycles were three times as energy efficient as walking and three to four times as fast. bicycle technology has in turn contributed ideas in both old and new areas.

Roads and Highways
highways owners and users are demanding more from roadway bridges, Technology is a procurement and reference resource providing a one-stop-shop for professionals and decision makers within the global road traffic industry.

Librar
is a collection of books, newspapers, records, tapes or other materials that are valuable for research  while the computer collection of software a collection things for use a computer, programs or diskettes or a collection of routines or instruction used by a computer program.

Printing Press
much of humanity today enjoys a great of technological wonders including email, the personal computer, the internet, household, appliances, radio, television, digital cameras. Printing press is a machine that trusses inked type or etched plates onto paper or textiles that are fed through it.

Telephone
telephone networking is used by many businesses to keep their tele communication systems streamlined often networking telephones can be integrated into a business larger communications network, for instance phone networking may be implemented through internet protocol. Because it can cut or eliminate traditional telephone costs more cost- effective. Due to this shift in technology, a positive in phone networking installation and repair requires training IT and telephone systems.

Airplane
flying has become the most popular form of public transportation. now air transportation is as much a part of life as telephone or computer. speed efficiency comfort and safety. while the technology has become recognized as a major enables for aviation to war effectively and safely, few airport websites currently provide this information. Using Information Technology involve attempting to replicate the physical world in cyberspace.

What is a Case Study?

The study of a person, a small group, a single situation, or a specific "case," is called a case study. It involves extensive research, including documented evidence of a particular issue or situation -- symptoms, reactions, affects of certain stimuli, and the conclusion reached following the study. A case study may show a correlation between two factors, whether or not a causal relationship can also be proven. It may sound complicated, but it's really quite simple.
For example, a case study may show that obese people tend to drink a lot of diet soda. This would mean that there is a correlation, or association, between being overweight and drinking diet soda. No causal factor has been shown, or in other words, there is no scientific evidence that indicates drinking diet soda actually causes obesity, just that there is an association between the two.
Another case study may prove both causal and correlative factors. If research and evidence show that obese people also tend to eat more fattening foods than leaner people, there is science to back up the fact that eating fat causes people to gain weight. The difference between causal and correlative factors is important in a case study, because sometimes such studies are used to promote a specific medicine, therapy, or product; or to show that a particular product is unhealthy, unsafe, or should be used with care

case study may be used to show that a medicine is safe for the largest percentage of a certain demographic, based on the physical evidence, interviews, and observations. On the other hand, the same resources may show that the medicine is unsafe for certain segments of the population, including certain age groups. A case study may also be used to test other products or services, or even to decide which business model is most cost efficient.
A case study can be an important tool for establishing the effectiveness and safety of a product. Depending on who is conducting the case study, a company can also use it as a tool to discount claims made by competing manufacturers. To better decipher case studies, be sure to pay close attention to the factors examined, and ascertain whether they are correlative, causal, or both.
